Who the system is for

The ERP system is intended for knitwear and garment manufacturers that manage the production of apparel, knitwear, and textile products. It supports production planning and control, management of main and auxiliary materials, order tracking, maintenance of standards (material and labor), shop‑floor data capture (incl. OCR and barcodes), as well as Human Resources and Payroll. The system is suitable for OEM/ODM and for CMT (Cut‑Make‑Trim).

Types of enterprises

  • Knitwear and apparel companies engaged in:

    • manufacturing of garments and accessories;
    • knitwear production;
    • CMT — processing using customer‑provided materials/technology;
    • OEM/ODM and own brand/design production.
  • Organizations with varied production infrastructure:

    • factories and plants with multiple production lines/sections;
    • production shops (knitting, cutting rooms, sewing lines, pressing/finishing, packing/shipping);
    • ateliers and small sewing workshops;
    • brands with in‑house production (partial or fully internalized).
  • Functional units and processes the system supports:

    • production planning by orders/models/colorways/sizes;
    • management of main and auxiliary materials (warehouse receipts, issues, returns, inventories; batches/lots; customers, suppliers, colors/types);
    • technological preparation (material and labor standards; operations, machines, pattern pieces; consumption structures/BOMs);
    • execution and reporting (personal sheets, barcodes, OCR data entry);
    • Human Resources and Payroll (personnel, appointments, leave, attendance, payroll runs);
    • analytical reports for stocks and material movements, issued requests, balances, and schedules.

Company size and complexity

  • Micro and small enterprises (≈ 10–30 employees)

    • Typically one or several shops (cutting/sewing/finishing).
    • Need fast data capture (scanning/barcode), basic planning, and inventory visibility.
    • Often operate under CMT or small own‑brand series.
  • Medium enterprises (≈ 30–200 employees)

    • Several production lines; separate warehouses for main/auxiliary materials.
    • Require detailed standards, batch/color/customer traceability, integrated Planning → Procurement → Production → Control processes.
    • Frequently combine own models and CMT; need OCR/barcodes for accelerated entry.
  • Large factories (200+ employees; multi‑section/multi‑site)

    • Multiple production areas (knitting, cutting, sewing, finishing), technology and planning/economic departments.
    • Complex orders, variants and series; require strict traceability, inventory control, and detailed analytics (schedules, loading, costs).
    • Suitable for organizations with multiple warehouse locations, many lines, and production stages.

Note: The system is applicable to enterprises with multiple production lines, warehouses, and stages requiring strict traceability by batch/lot, customer, and color/type.

Users in the organization (roles)

  • Executives and owners
    • View key KPIs, control execution, monitor order and inventory status, approvals.
  • Production managers / shop and line supervisors
    • Plan by models/orders/colorways/sizes; issue production requests; control execution by section.
  • Planning/IE (production planning, planning & economics)
    • Draft requests, calculate required materials, schedule products/personnel, analyze line loading.
  • Technologists / industrial engineers
    • Maintain standards (material and labor), operations, machines, pattern pieces; tech sheets and reporting forms.
  • Warehouse clerks (main and auxiliary materials)
    • Receipts/issues/returns; inventories; batches, customers/suppliers, colors/types; stock and movement reports.
  • Procurement / logistics
    • Plan supplies based on required materials; control suppliers; track inbound documents.
  • Quality control
    • Batch/lot traceability, in‑process checks, feedback to production and technology.
  • Line operators / workers
    • Work with personal sheets; scan/enter barcodes; report completions; bundle‑based work.
  • Human Resources
    • Personnel, appointments, calendars, leave orders, terminations, reports (hires/leavers, expiring contracts, leave balances).
  • Payroll / accounting
    • Attendance sheets, earnings/deductions, sick leaves, payroll calculation, reports and export.
  • System administrators / roles & permissions
    • Manage users, roles and permissions matrix by module; configure general parameters; subscriptions and billing.

Production and usage models

  • CMT (Cut‑Make‑Trim): processing with customer‑provided materials/technology — focus on accurate consumption and batch/customer traceability.
  • OEM/ODM and own brand: full technological preparation (standards, models, colorways/sizes), order‑driven planning, management of main/auxiliary materials, execution reporting.
  • Mixed models: combined portfolio where some items are CMT and others are own brand/design.

Example deployment patterns

  • Small sewing shop (≈ 25 employees)

    • Core needs: fast execution entry (barcode/personal sheet), basic planning and warehouse (receipts/issues).
    • Most used modules: Data Entry (barcode/OCR), Warehouses (main/auxiliary materials), Production (requests), Standards (basic), HR (optional).
  • Medium factory (≈ 120 employees; knitting, cutting, sewing, finishing)

    • Needs: full materials traceability (batches/colors/customers), technological standards, request planning, OCR for personal sheets, HR and Payroll.
    • Modules: Standards, Production (PDP), Warehouses, Data Entry (OCR/barcode), HR, Payroll, User Management (roles/permissions).
  • Large plant (200+ employees; many lines/warehouses)

    • Needs: centralized standards, complex planning by orders/colorways/sizes, balances and schedules, detailed inventory and movement control, comprehensive HR/Payroll.
    • Modules: full stack — Standards, Production (PDP), Warehouses (main/auxiliary), Data Entry (OCR/barcode), HR Full, Payroll, User Management.

Summary

The ERP system suits small, medium, and large knitwear and garment manufacturers — from ateliers and shops to factories with many lines and stages. It is used by executives, production managers, technologists, warehouse personnel, procurement, quality control, operators, HR and accounting, providing end‑to‑end materials traceability, structured technological standards, production planning and reporting, and reliable control over human resources and payroll.
